Student transportation in Brant, Haldeman and Norfolk canceled buses and schools in zones 1, Norfolk County, 2, Haldeman, 3, Brant County and 4, City of Brantford. A few flight delays also remain this morning as crews work on clearing snow. Pearson reported some departures were canceled or delayed yesterday. A few more expected today, so make sure you contact your airline ahead of time. According to an aviation analytics firm, hundreds of flights across the country were affected. A weather warnings persist across much of southern Ontario today, either because it's cold or snowy. Now, Environment Canada issued a cold warning, but that is expected to end this morning. Temperatures feeling close to minus 30. Waterloo region under a blowing snow advisory. One person has died after a vehicle and snowmobile collided Saturday afternoon in Brant County. Branch OPP said it happened on County Road 18 between 6 School Road and Highway 54 at about 5 o'clock. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact OPP. Well, he's apparently not a big talker. Prime Minister Carney was absent from yesterday's first question period after Parliament's return from a six-week holiday break. And last year, he answered far fewer questions than the former prime minister. One political scientist warns the prime minister who ducks out on question period could undermine the public's trust. And they actually said yes to wildlife this time. Marineland's belugas received a reprieve from death row. The federal government conditionally approved a plan to export the last remaining captive whales in Canada to the United States.
